- 1877年、同志社分校女紅場を開設。同年、女紅場を同志社女学校と改称。
- 1912年、専門学校令による同志社大学ならびに女学校専門学部開校。

- 1948年、新制大学開校。同志社高等学校、女子高等学校、商業高等学校（定時制）開設。
