Hisotry
- 1873年、長野県諏訪郡川岸村（現在の岡谷市川岸）で片倉市助が10人取りの座繰り製糸を開始。
- 1895年、片倉組を設立。
- 1920年、片倉組を継承する組織として片倉製糸紡績株式会社を設立（片倉工業の創立日）
- 1939年、旧官営富岡製糸場（株式会社富岡製糸所）を合併。
- 1943年、片倉工業株式会社に改称。
