==History==

*1952年、伊藤忠商事（株）から分離独立し伊藤忠自動車（株）を設立。

*1953年、富士工業（株）と富士自動車工業（株）と大宮富士工業（株）と宇都宮車輛（株）と東京富士産業（株）が共同で出資し<旧>富士重工業（株）を設立。

*1955年、富富士工業（株）と富士自動車工業（株）と大宮富士工業（株）と宇都宮車輛（株）と東京富士産業（株）を吸収合併。

*1960年、富士商工（株）を吸収合併。

*1966年、<別>富士重工業（株）と合併し<旧>富士重工（株）に社名変更。

*1976年、伊藤忠自動車（株）が中央スバル自動車（株）に社名変更。

*1999年、富士重工業（株）と中央スバル自動車（株）が合併し富士重工業株式会社に社名変更。
